The “new acquisition” looks really superb - VERY “racy”, and with beautiful curves. I wouldn’t mind trying one (but haven’t got the special motorbike licence) - or at least sitting on the back. Before trying it out I guess you might now have to wait effectively until Spring. It’s 11-17,5° C in Montreal today - a might “parky” for a ride. I was in Montreal last November, there was no snow but it was pretty frisky. I do hope you are as OK as can be - including all yours, and those two adorable cats you showed me. Ours currently have a flea or 2 or 3… we’re spraying everywhere, from top to bottom of the house - I don’t know where they picked them up, but the warm weather here is well suited for this kind of unwanted guest.
Sorry for the b… computer problems, I hope it’s sorted out now.

The b… computer has just refused to send you my message - so will start again, for the essential (most of it was just musing).
The BMW looks really superb, great “curves” - I envy you (but haven’t got the special motorbike licence required here). I guess the weather might be becoming a bit “parky” in Montreal now - but it’s still early, you seem to be up to 17,5°C today (here, still very mild). I do hope you are OK today (your 2 adorable cats as well). Our 2 currently have a flea, or 2 or 3… We’re spraying everywhere, it’s one of the joys of life - or rather the price to be paid for having them purring around you.
All warm wishes - am in touch. R

The comments not showing up weren’t your fault, Robert. For some unknown reason, they got stuck in the antispam filter. But since I get to see those before they vanish into the ether, I lectured the antispam and told it not to do it again!
I’m not that concerned about the chilly weather yet. Actually went out all day today for an advanced motorcycle course. It was a mere 6 degrees when I rode off this morning, but I do have the clothing to cope with it. As long as there’s no snow or ice on the road, it’s not a problem.

Benoît: I’m a bit lost in the dedalus of messages sent, and received. Today (19/10) I’ve just read this one (16/09/07). This is stupidly my fault, since I have difficulty mastering the blog. We have in theory been in touch since this date.
Am concerned re absence of your good self on the blog, for a little time now. Those of us who haven’t your affliction, who can’t even begin to understand what pain really means, have no right even to write to you. Yet it is important to stay in touch. My wife (Medic, at the Medicine Faculty here), researches on pain, and knows full well what you are talking about.
I do hope that things are as OK as they can be. You are very much in my thoughts. That’s not much of any assuagement, I readily admit. But it’s just to say that, despite this distance, many are with you.
